Have You No Decency?

Scott Morrison, Zionism, and the Profits of War

“The war is not meant to be won. It is meant to be continuous.” — George Orwell

This week, Former Australian prime minister and complete bellend Scott Morrison retweeted a Trump post about the bombing of Iran with his own added, “peace through strength”

The man who couldn’t hold a hose in the bushfires is now holding a megaphone for war. He’s not in power. He’s not relevant. He’s one of the most loathe characters in Australian political history, yet he seems to think that his opinion means something.

Scott Morrison retweeted Trump’s gloating tweet.

This isn’t about preventing conflict — it’s about maintaining a war that never ends. A war that justifies occupation, justifies military spending, justifies the slaughter of civilians in the name of peace. A war that keeps men like Morrison at the top of the pile, pissing down on the rest of us. This is not foreign policy. This is Orwell with a Pentecostal twist. War is peace, as long as it's righteous. As long as it’s someone else’s children bleeding.”

When Morrison looks at the bombing of Muslims, whether the Ayatollahs in Iran or the babies in Gaza, he cares not of the killing. Not the mangled bodies. Not the starved children. Not the levelled hospitals. For Morrison, Palestine is a means to an end. His ticket to heaven in rapture with the rest of his ghastly religion. His allegiance is to Zionism. To the machinery of occupation. To the Western narrative that paints Israel as righteous no matter how many mass graves are dug in the sand.

I'm surprised the prick didn't bless the bombs.

Scott Morrison has always been an asshole. A corrupt and useless politician that failed up to the top job in the land. And while in that job, he used his assholery to support the murderous regime in Israel. He unilaterally declared West Jerusalem the capital of Israel — a move that the Israeli government loved and gave his own hard-right Pentecostal base a hard on, but enraged Australia’s neighbours, baffled diplomats, and set back any hope of peace. It was never about peace. It was about signaling loyalty. About playing messiah on the world stage. About tying his political brand to Christian Zionism — the dangerous belief that modern Israel is the fulfilment of biblical prophecy.

Christian Zionism doesn’t care about Jews. It’s not solidarity. It’s strategy — a belief that Israel must exist, must burn, must fulfill the prophecy so that Christ can return and beam up the faithful. The rest? Hellfire. That includes actual Jews. Morrison’s allegiance isn’t to Israel — it’s to the end of days.”

This is a man who believes his authority comes from God. Who once said that God appeared to him as an eagle and “called” him to lead. Who gave speeches about “divine intervention” in parliament. And now, that same man is endorsing the bombing of Iran — another Muslim-majority nation — while supporting the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. Because for Morrison, God’s plan seems to involve a lot of dead brown people and a steady stream of defence contracts.

Maybe he did bless the bombs.

With Morrison it’s always self-interest. An opportunity to polish his international profile. An opportunity to sell his faith-infused brand of right-wing nationalism to an American audience. An opportunity to align himself with military power, and in doing so, stay in the political bloodstream — not as a leader, but as a preacher for the forever war.

He has no decency. None. Just scripture and slogans. Just ambition and ash.

Morrison is likely banking on the speaking circuit, think tank gigs. He wants to be Tony Blair. What else can a man who leave office with shredded credibility and unlimited ambition hope for? A washed-up leader turned war apologist-for-hire, profiting from “geopolitical insight” while real people die in real time.

Just look at the company he keeps: the IDF bootlickers on Sky News. The hawks in Washington. The Pentecostal fanatics who think Palestine is the Devil’s playground. The billionaire donors who see every bombing campaign as a “defence of democracy.”

Morrison fits right in. Don’t be fooled with all the God-bothering – Morrison is a fucking sociopath.

He didn’t just back Israel. He armed it with scripture.
He didn’t just support bombing Iran. He cheered it from the pews.
He didn’t just sell Australia out. He sold it to God’s gunrunner.
I bet he blessed the bombs.

I bet he blessed the bombs.
